Photo Friday INBioparque in Costa Rica A Kids DreamIf you had one day to spend in Costa Rica and wanted to see all of its ecosystems in one go, INBioparque would be the best place for it.

Do you want to feel the heavy humidity of a tropical rain forest? How about the dryness of a tropical dry forest? Here you’ll get all that, plus a cloud forest, a farm with a medicine herb garden, an active bee hive and an aquarium underneath the pond.

See different ants and snakes and butterflies in their own private exhibits while native flora surrounds you.

My son has been coming to this park since he was one year old and it never gets old. Every time we come there is something new and exciting for him to discover.

But it’s not only for kids. I personally saw Jane Goodall talk about her life’s experiences while introducing the youth of Costa Rica to her organization: Roots and Shoots.

INBioparque has a ton of shows and activities year round. However, if you are in the San Jose area for an extended period of time during the months of January and July, you can register your child for their workshops that teach kids about insects, plants, animals and other environmentally friendly adventures. Trust me, they’ll love it!
