product+review Insect Repellents that do their Job: Kill Insects Not People! It’s actually one Insect Repellent that I’m talking about! Pest-Off Natural Insect.

I accidentally found this at my friends house who was living here and about to move. She had an extra bottle and said I could have it. I think she just wanted to calm me down while I jumped up and down with glee that there are natural repellents in Costa Rica. Well, not exactly in the stores for sale, but at least in the country!

What’s super great about this product is that it’s a double bonus product, especially if you’re living in a tropical, insect infested, paradise such as Costa Rica icon smile Insect Repellents that do their Job: Kill Insects Not People! It also has an SPF of 15.

Costa Rica is a beautiful counpest+off Insect Repellents that do their Job: Kill Insects Not People!try and if you plan on traveling it, your choices are really either beach or jungle or both. Since we like variety we took a beach/jungle trip and brought our handy dandy repellent with us.

I have to say, I was super impressed. It smells wonderful, so you’re not repelling people all around you. My son had a blast with it, and I didn’t freak out every time he sprayed it on his body and went to bed without bathing. You know how those deet repellents are, they practically eat through your clothes. However, it really did the job.

I’m one of those people that gets eaten alive in the midst of an Alaskan winter by the two mosquitoes hibernating in some corner. Yet, here we were in mosquito and sand-flea haven and I came out unscathed!

Long story short, I definitely recommend this product for the family.

Here’s what makes it special:

Pest Off is a botanically-derived insect “frustragent” designed to provide insect relief without the harmful effects of DEET of other toxins. Pest Off’s main ingredient, aloe vera, is combined with batnaicals and other herbal extracts to create a scent that is pleasant to humans but frustrating to insects. It also contains a medium UVA/UVB sunscreen for outdoor protection
