Hotel Banana Azul, Puerto Viejo
This is a beautiful 12 room hotel in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica and one of the 4 hotels that were recommended in the Conde Naste Traveler Magazine for their 20th anniversary. This hotel is also a only couples hotel. The rooms have private baths and free wireless among others. There is also a swimming pool and a jacuzzi.

Ocean Rooms
These are located on the top floor and are large with a spacious deck with hammock and hardwood furniture. Each room has a Queen bed with the option of adding a twin bed for a 3rd person.
Garden Bath Suites
These are located on the main level. They have a large open-air bathtub in their own private garden. These rooms are equipped with Queen Bed and Satellite TV.
Sloth Cabinas
There are 2 sloth cabinas are on the top floor. The rooms are smaller and have a double bed. The common area includes individual hammocks and shared kitchenette.
Dolphin Room
The Dolphin Room is larger and has ocean view from its deck which also has a hammock and hardwood furniture. There is a Queen bed with the option of adding a twin for a 3rd person.
Howler Suite
This is the most spacious and closest to the beach room in the hotel. The room has a Queen bed and a deluxe bathroom with tub for 2 overlooking the garden.
The Apartment
It is fully furnished and has 2 bedrooms. It also offers jungle views, full kitchen, and satellite TV. Sleeps comfortably 4 people.
Red Frog Room
This one is located on the main floor and is equipped with a deluxe bathroom, Satellite TV and adjoining patio.
